VIDEO art journal with me #1 πŸ₯€

hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe at home and healthy. Within the last weeks of being in a lockdown, I didn't feel creative at all. It was either the stress and anxiety from the major changes, or just the burnout and slump from finishing university. However, it has been a few weeks of rest and being rather lazy, and now I feel like I am ready to create again. So far I have been doing daily drawings on Instagram for a daily challenge for 30 days, and I will soon make a post about the journey of doing something for 30 days. In the meantime you can follow me on Instagram to see some more illustrations, drawing on paper and art journal inspiration. IG: printableartsunday Art journal with me ~ art journal ideas I have finally published my first art journal! Last year I was into bullet journaling, but I realized that I would rather use Google Calendar, and make art journal for thoughts and creative expression. I love how the spread turned out, especially the qu

Scandinavian Interior Design Inspiration πŸͺ‘

Hi! Lately I have been working on redesigning apartment back home. As I have lived in Denmark for 3 years, I have absolutely fallen in love with Scandinavian interior design. So, a big part of redecorating so far has been spending a lot of time going through Pinterest and IKEA to see what I can put together on a low budget and a big determination to DIY as much as I can.

Today I want to share some beautiful Scandinavian interior design inspiration for my future project, and maybe it might help you get some ideas as well.

QUESTION TO YOU ALL: Look around in your house and tell me - how many IKEA furniture can you count? For me it is 10 :D

What are Scandinavian design main elements? πŸ‘

Neutral colors
The main colors used in Scandinavian design are muted neutrals, such as white, grey and tan. The overall look of the design is cosy, calm and simple. However, a pop of color is used in form of accessories, such as moss green pillow, or a textured carpet with some color in it.

Less is more
One thing that I love about Scandinavian design is the simplicity. I would definitely describe the style as 'less is more', which gives off as a relaxing environment in the house. From my own experience, I have lived in a studio apartment for almost 4 years. We always felt we didn't have enough space or storage space, and the apartment looked so cluttered and cramped. However, when we got closed wardrobe and got rid of a lot of things (we donated 5 bags of clothes), the apartment felt cosy and welcoming. All we needed was to get better furniture and get rid of stuff.

Greenery
Plants are key element in the Scandinavian household. Having plants indoors brings the outdoors inside your living room or bedroom. I love having plants and I am excited to see that they are slowly growing as well. How many plants do you have in the house? We have 3 πŸŒ΅

Wooden elements
Bringing the wood furniture brings the nature as well. One can see from IKEA furniture that they also like to use rough and exposed wood as the main element. Another note is that wood compliments white perfectly, so it is a lot of fun to play around with color and texture.
