POST WORTH READING

VIDEO art journal with me #1 🥀

hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe at home and healthy. Within the last weeks of being in a lockdown, I didn't feel creative at all. It was either the stress and anxiety from the major changes, or just the burnout and slump from finishing university. However, it has been a few weeks of rest and being rather lazy, and now I feel like I am ready to create again. So far I have been doing daily drawings on Instagram for a daily challenge for 30 days, and I will soon make a post about the journey of doing something for 30 days. In the meantime you can follow me on Instagram to see some more illustrations, drawing on paper and art journal inspiration. IG: printableartsunday Art journal with me ~ art journal ideas I have finally published my first art journal! Last year I was into bullet journaling, but I realized that I would rather use Google Calendar, and make art journal for thoughts and creative expression. I love how the spread turned out, especially the qu

Download it. Print it. Frame it. Love it.

I have learnt this the hard way, but it is so hard to actually change plans when they don't go as planned. But each failure has its own lessons. Especially after something that fails, it is important to realize when to continue trying out, and when to quit and move onto other thing. However, you never know until you try out.

I really like this quote. Sometimes life feels like such a random chaos, and it is hard to find strength to go on, even though we want to have this reassurance that everything is under control. I suggest in the days when you feel overwhelmed at getting your shit together, just choose one thing. Maybe clean out closet, clean the house or go through emails and delete old ones. Just start with one corner :)

This is something that is so important. I always have tons of ideas that I could do, but the most successful ones were the ones that I actually scheduled and pursued. I wanted to have a business, so I opened one and tried out. Even though it didn't succeed as much as I had hoped, I learnt so much along the way. The same I feel about my Etsy shop. I have wanted a shop since 2017, but something was always in the way. But this year, even though I don't have a personal computer, I am still going strong and scheduling time for new designs and printables.

This is one of my favorite quotes. Being grateful for what you have now can help with being more present and happy. I always had lists of what I wanted, but I had never made a list of everything I was feeling grateful. After I tried, I realized how lucky I am to have amazing friends, loving family, good health and incredible relationship. Life is good.

When was the last time you talked yourself out of something without a real reason? I am always shutting down my ideas even before putting the pros and cons of it. It is so so easy to talk yourself out of something that could actually be fun. For example, I love making videos and editing, however, I have talked myself out of posting many videos just because they are not that perfect. If I was just not overthinking it, I would have had way more videos created and I would learn better and better by doing it. Instead I sped way too much time on overthinking than actually creating.

Thank you for visiting the blog! Have a lovely day xx
